December 6, 2014 . Santa Maria Mansion, Brickell, FL . Vintage Charm Inspiration The Wedding Day I was asked that special question that every friend hopes for: "will you be my bridesmaid?" Of course I said yes! I was so proud to stand next to the beautiful bride on her wedding day. I was also helping Katherine & Nick on all of the pre-planning; booking vendors, choosing playlists, color palettes, attire and so much more. And before the big day, all of the leading ladies came together to create darling floral centerpieces and uniquely gorgeous bouquets. What a wonderful way to spend time with your bridesmaids before you say "I do"! We awoke the next day to clear skies. The tables were set, the guests were arriving, and Katherine was ready to marry the love of her life! I have to give special credit to Katherine's day-of planners. As a bridesmaid it is very difficult to perform your bridal duties and plan a flawless day. Being so, Katherine hired Ideal Day Planners to take charge on the day-of her wedding and I thank them for running such a smooth event for my dear friend! Well when you are with this group of ladies, there is always fun to be had! We wanted to go with an original theme and came up with a "jail break" idea and ran with it. Hand cuffs, "being bad" logos, and ball and chains decorated the hotel room. A limousine was provided to take us to the hottest spots in Fort Lauderdale! And just how bad were we? Oh we're not telling!
