Callie & Diogo: In Mutually Weird Love

Wedding Day!

​Callie and Diogo easily win most-fun couple of 2016! This quirky couple wed to the beat of their own drum, with special details through out to highlight their eclectic personalities. Their day started off with the most adoring love letters, pineapples, and home baked pies. All of their equally fun friends accompanied them as they counted down to their first look.

The ceremony took place on the ocean side gazebo lawn of Hawk’s Cay Resort, where a conch shell blowing objection to the wedding led to a sword fighting duel for the honor of the bride (yes, you read that correctly)! Diogo won Callie’s heart yet again and the ceremony proceeded from the literary genius of J.K. Rowling, or so it seemed. And although this all seems a bit bizarre, there was no other acceptable way for this off-beat couple to unite their mutual weirdness.

The objection, the duel, the defeat!

"One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Carin as our day of coordinator! After planning the whole thing from California, it was such a relief to hand the reins over to her - she was patient, thorough, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. We made or brought in almost all of our own decor, and gave Carin creative license to set it up however she thought would be best. I was amazed when I saw the final result - I couldn't believe how beautifully it all came together! Even after the wedding, she continued to take care of little details like returning the cake stand to the baker, so we didn't have to worry about it. We were blown away by how fun, beautiful, and amazing our wedding was, and we owe so much of that to Carin!" - Callie
